Our Team

We are collaborating with a diverse set of people and organizations to ensure we can provide survivors of domestic violence with the resources that their pets and they need!

Here are some of our partners on this fantastic journey!

Shelter House is a 24-hour emergency shelter for victims of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking as well as resource for homeless families. WPL is collaborating with Shelter House’s Domestic Violence women’s shelters Artemis House 1 and Artemis House 3 on their pet fostering program. WPL works closely with staff from both facilities, as well as Shelter House staff on this ground-breaking and important pilot program.

Guardians Dog Training is collaborating with our cause by providing discounted pet training and evaluations. Many of the animals we help could have been victims of abuse themselves, so having an experienced trainer to evaluate them or assist fosters ensures both animals and humans remain safe and happy during the transition from home/shelter to foster home.
