To Help The Defenseless! Pets of domestic violence victims need our help to ensure their safety and security is guaranteed while their owners get the assistance needed.

    Over two-thirds of pets living in a domestic violence situation are also victims of abuse

    Data shows that 48% of domestic violence victims delay leaving their abusers because of concern over their pets

    As many as 25% of victims report they have returned to an abusive partner out of concern for their pets

The Whiskers, Paws and Love Team started our Paws Together™ campaign to bring awareness to the sad fact that many animals are adversely impacted by domestic abuse.

Although some victims are lucky enough to have a safe place to shelter their animals when seeking help, many victims may delay leaving their situation due to a lack of understanding because of a language barrier.

The Whiskers, Paws and Love Team brings a diverse set of volunteers that can speak multiple languages as well as represent the concerned public population, which many times can help a person feel confident their loved animal will be safe and secure as they seek help.

Help us help the defenseless and be their voice!
